Pre-Trip Planning
International Air Travel
There are a multitude of airlines that fly to Australia from most regions worldwide. The more popular (with daily services) include the Australian national carrier QANTAS, British Airways, Cathay, United, Singapore, Malaysian, Thai, Emirates, Air New Zealand, Gulf Air, Japan Airlines, Korean and Garuda Airlines.
Generally the best fares will be sourced from an airline or travel agent in your home country and/or via the internet.
Internal Australia Flights
When joining our short holiday tours or a pre or post conference tour within Australia you will need to arrange your own internal flights.
There are various options for booking your flights which include:
- Check with your home town airline or travel agent for special Australian internal airfares which are available if issued in conjunction with your international ticket. These generally represent a 30%, or more, saving on published fares and can only be obtained before you arrive in Australia.
- Check the website of the Australian airlines notably Qantas (QF) or Virgin Blue (DJ) or Jet Star (JQ) in addition to a number of smaller regional carriers. Some of the international airlines also fly domestic sectors.
The earlier you book internal Australian flights the more likely you will be to obtain the most advantageous airfare.
Tour Documents
On completion of your booking you will receive a voucher which will also serve as your tour ticket. Where specific reserved tickets are required you will be advised.
